The Sweets Suite
I put together our first "Sweets Suite" this weekend for a little boy's first birthday! The order included a beach pail pudding cake with lemon filling, coordinating cupcakes with white chocolate shells and a 6" smash cake for the birthday boy. It was so fun to watch the collection come together and I loved the finished product. Next time we'll add a few cake pops and sugar cookies match! Horray for desserts!

A friend's little girl was turning one and mama was throwing a sweet bunny party in her honor! She needed a little smash cake to sweeten the occasion and this is what we came up with:
The colors, bunny silhouette and font were all designed to match the party theme.

Teacher Appreciation
Having once been a teacher, I have to say, teaching is a rewarding, EXHAUSTING, heartwarming, and (OMG did I mention) EXHAUSTING job! I mean, the part of you that is filled-up daily by delicately shaping the lives of future generations, can quickly be depleted again by the parents! effort it takes to keep up the requisite sing-song-y, sweet, smiling affect whilst coercing THE.LEARNING for hours on end.
In honor of every saintly individual- standing tall in front of the chalk-board 180 days a year, wiping noses (and bottoms) of children that they did NOT spawn, fighting the cesspool of mutant super germs passed on by little fingers, and maneuvering the land-mines of IEP meetings, parent conferences and field trips- I say thank you. And by that I mean;

Li'l Spartans: Class of 2025 picnic
About a month ago, I ran into an old friend from high school at a local park. We got to talking, and she came up with a brilliant idea to put together a play-date/picnic for local alum and our children! I, of course, offered to provide the sweets- and here they be!
